Microdermabrasion

This is a procedure that uses Micro Crystals/Diamond tip to mechanically exfoliate the surface of your skin and then vacuum up the dead skin cells leaving you with a fresh new look. This can improve the appearance and rejuvenate your skin by increasing collagen and help with reducing light scarring, discoloration, fine lines, acne, and much more.  Collagen production decreases as we grow older.  We can increase the appearance of smooth and tight skin by using therapies like Microdermabrasion. This is a great treatment for anyone looking to get help with acne breakouts, anti-aging, or uneven skin.

Hydra Facial

This treatment is one of the most popular facial treatments at the spa. Hydra facial uses water to exfoliate and remove the dead skin cells with vacuum technology. This procedure will give you plump, radiant, and brighter skin. It is very effective with chemical peels, using one or a combination of Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, and Lactic Acid. The top layer of your skin will essentially be resurfaced similar to Microdermabrasion, but with a gentler approach. This is a treatment for those with sensitive skin or who are more acne-prone.

Microneedling

Microneedling is using very fine needles that perforate the top surface of your skin.  The needles used are very small with the length reaching no more than 2.5 millimeters. The treated area goes through a healing process that stimulates collagen and elastin production. This is a way to enhance cell renewal and skin tissue and the result is skin that is rejuvenated and youthful.  This procedure is mainly used on the face and can help with treating scars and large pores and soften the appearance of fine lines.

Microcurrent

Microcurrent increases cellular activity in the areas treated. It is meant to improve circulation and muscle tone and has been shown to reduce wrinkles and give a lifting effect by stimulating facial muscles. This is a painless procedure that uses soft gentle waves that penetrate through skin and tissue to the muscle.  This treatment is essentially working out your muscles giving the same effect as you would see when you work out at the gym with a gentler approach.

Chemical Peels

This treatment uses a chemical solution that is gently applied to the face, neck, or hands, to dissolve the outermost layer of skin. Once this outer layer of old skin cells is removed, you are left with a fresh layer of skin that is smoother and younger-looking.  This is great to treat wrinkles and to improve the skin’s color, clarity, tone, and texture. The deeper the peel, the longer the recovery time.  This is a great treatment to do in combination with other cosmetic procedures.

LED Skin Therapies

LEDs do not contain ultraviolet rays and therefore are a safe treatment for regular use. LED therapies use light in the visible spectrum that triggers the skin’s natural healing processes.  It is a non-invasive procedure that has a lot of potential benefits such as reducing sun damage, scarring, inflammation, acne, age spots, and more. The color of light used for the therapy is chosen based on the procedure that will benefit you the most.

Red Light (620nm-700nm) : Anti-Aging-Focusing on inflammation and redness. Stimulates collagen and elastin. Deeper the color the deeper it penetrates the skin.

Blue (405nm-420nm): Acne Treatment-helps to kill acne-causing bacteria. This works well in combination with Red LED light therapy.

Amber (570nm-620nm): Soothing for sensitive skin, reduce swelling, and increase radiance with better cellular growth. It helps flush waste from your skin by Boosting lymphatic flow.

Infrared(700nm-1400nm): Invisible to the naked eye, this light is able to reach the deepest layer in the dermal and epidermal layers. It helps to replenish the cells and aid in the production of collagen and elastin for a quicker recovery process.

Do not use LED light therapy if you are taking isotretinoin (Accutane), for Acne treatments or use any topical treatments that would cause sensitivity to sunlight.

Microneedling RF (Radiofrequency)

This is the same as the microneedling description from above but it adds the benefit of radiofrequency as a part of the procedure. These are combined in a new technology that allows the technician to use a wand to deliver both at the same time.  Radiofrequency is a treatment that delivers heat deeper into the skin reaching the dermal layers. This stimulates collagen and elastin production in those deeper layers.  Your skin will feel tighter and look younger with a series of treatments.
